Ramen House logo and sign mock-up

Ramen House is a traditional ramen restaurant that primarily caters to the late night crowd. First, the logo is meant to symbolize the Japanese flag starting with the rising sun in the center. Next, I used the silhouette of a traditional Japanese Torii (which symbolizes the entrance to a better place) to mark the entrance to the Ramen House. Finally, to tie the logo together I organized it in a layout that represents a traditional Japanese banner. The themed font along with the bold simplicity overall encompass my vision to represent the Japanese worldview of Wabi-sabi (simplicity and purity).

Band-Aid rebrand and packaging

The target audience for this rebrand are blue collar workers, specially those who would rather use tape for a "quick fix" instead of properly bandaging. The packaging is black in order to stand out in a sea of white packaging. The red cross contrasts the dark background and catches one's gaze even when quickly browsing. My goal was to easily communicate the purpose by using the construction worker illustration and by coloring the Band-Aid logo a "caution tape" yellow.

Byron castillo - digital illustration and article mockup

The illustration is based off of the controversy that Byron Castillo falsified his birth certificate. This allowed him to help his team win games unfairly.

My design mimics a classic sports card and immediately brings the point acros. The mockup is an example of how the illustration can be used.

carhartt - social media ad

The project goal was to make a social media ad that promotes the Carhartt brand as more than a men’s workwear brand. I took the photo in the studio and used Photoshop to merge the text and logo with the image. After, I manipulated the colors in Lightroom.
